Progress and innovation in the dermal filler industry continues in leaps and bounds. Today’s hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are highly compatible with the human body, offer greater longevity and feel more natural under the skin. They also come in different textures for a more customized approach to facial rejuvenation. Refyne®, for example, is the newest member of the Restylane® family of products (Restylane®, Defyne®, Lyft®, and Silk® are the others). It’s designed for deep tissue injection and correction of volume loss in the mid to lower face. Its medium viscosity makes it ideal for areas where a softer product is desired. Furthermore, since Refyne® is very flexible, it helps to fill in wrinkles and folds while preserving one’s natural expression. Refyne’s new cross-linked molecules enables the product to last up to 12-18 months.* Learn more about Refyne® cost, see before and after photos, and location near me in the San Francisco Bay area.
Refyne® fillers are created using innovative XpresHAn™ technology which makes them capable of advanced precision and performance. The degree of HA cross-linking determines the filler’s texture, where to place it and how it can best enhance someone’s facial features. For example, Refyne® has more stretch to it and is therefore best suited for providing subtle support. It’s ideal for younger patients or those with mild to moderate volume loss. Common areas to inject Refyne® are in the smile lines (nasolabial folds) and lines around the mouth (marionette lines). In certain cases, and with an expert injector’s discretion Refyne® can be used for treating deflation under the eyes and as lip filler. Defyne®, as a point of contrast, is firmer but offers less ‘give’ or flexibility. All Restylane’s XpresHAn™ fillers work to reverse volume loss by providing structural support and plumpness to dermal tissues. Therefore, the entire product line is an excellent choice for restoring one’s youthful contours while maintaining natural-looking results.
At Azala Medical Aesthetics we take patient comfort very seriously. To reduce pain a topical numbing agent is applied to the treatment area prior to injections. Additionally, Refyne® contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic that “freezes” tissues as the treatment continues. Patients are happy to discover that results are instant with hyaluronic acid fillers. There’s an immediate improvement in skin firmness, smoothness and plumpness. HA attracts water so some swelling (and bruising) post procedure is normal, especially in the lips. Depending on the area there can also be tenderness which usually dissipates within 12-24 hours. If you’re planning a special occasion, it’s best give yourself a minimum of 2-3 weeks for the filler to settle and any bruising to subside. During your consultation with one of our trained clinicians, you will be given more details about the different types of fillers available and your provider will review your goals, budget and expectations to create a unique customized treatment plan just for you. You’ll also be advised about our financing options and special offers. Refyne® cost depends on your location and the number of syringes necessary to achieve the desired results.
